Unplugged | SterlingTerrell.net

Being unplugged might be nice.

Or, at least controlling the plug...

It can also focus us and give us clarity of purpose.

To do this, reject the real-time noise.

Not real-time sports - let's not be ridiculous.

Just real-time feeds, news, social media, email, phone calls, messaging.

  • Try batching your emails if possible.
  • Only having your phone on during certain hours.
  • Reading the paper with coffee in the morning.
  • And actually talking with people face-to-face.

Who knows.

It might be worth a try.

Note: If you are struggling with phone addiction just turn it to grey-scale.

It works.
