greatergoodtextilegroup Do you want to learn more about composting? Do you want to help make the College of Textiles more sustainable? Do you want to play with cow manure? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then we would love your help! On Saturday January 14, we will be helping to build a compost pile for the Cotton Compost Pilot Program sponsored by NC State’s Sustainability Fund. If you’ve ever wanted to learn more about composting, or even if you’re already a compost expert, come help out or just observe the process.

Don’t worry; if you don’t want to deal with cow manure, you won’t have to. We’ll need help filling/weighing/moving buckets, measuring parameters of the pile, recording data, and taking photos/videos. If you are interested in coming out to the Compost Learning Lab off Lake Wheeler Road on January 14. DM for more information!
